Amelia Arsenault
Research Assistant
USC Wallis Annenberg Graduate Research Fellow

Amelia received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. After graduation she moved to Harare, Zimbabwe where she spent several years working as the film coordinator for the Zimbabwe International Film Festival Trust, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting visual literacy and encouraging cultural exchange. Her work in Zimbabwean film industry inspired her to enroll in graduate study in media and communications.

Amelia first began working with the Center as a Sands Scholar during the 2003/2004 academic year while completing the second year of the Global Media and Communications program, a dual MSc/MA program offered by the London School of Economics and the Annenberg School.

Amelia is currently completing her third year of the Annenberg School PhD program in Communication. Her interest in the research agenda of the Center on Public Diplomacy provided one of her primary motivations for applying to the PhD program.
