Anoush Rima Tatevossian received her Bachelor's degree in Government, with a focus on civil society and development in the former Soviet Union, and a minor in Film Studies from the College of William & Mary in 2004. Her interests within the realm of Public Diplomacy include the role of new media and ICTs, global civil society, cultural diplomacy, diasporas and migration, public diplomacy's use for developing countries, and nation-branding.

Prior to entering the Master of Public Diplomacy program at USC, she served as the Executive Director of the Armenian Volunteer Corps- an NGO based in Yerevan, Armenia- an organization devoted to assisting cross-cultural understanding and development by linking diasporans from around the world with ongoing efforts of nation-building in Armenia today. In this capacity she ran all day to day operations of the organization including organizing and running training sessions; building relationships and partnerships with IOs, NGOs, businesses, and government agencies around the country; and managing PR/outreach domestically and worldwide. Previous to the position with AVC, Rima worked as an analyst at Towers Perrin Consulting in Washington, DC.

Rima is a film aficionado and amateur filmmaker with several production credits to her name. She speaks fluent Armenian and to further enhance foreign language pursuits, has studied abroad in Saint Petersburg, Russia and Florence, Italy .
