John Worne is the Director of Strategy and External Relations, British Council.

John has held senior positions in both the UK public and private sectors, most recently at the centre of UK Government in the Cabinet Office. Prior to that he led development of the National Health Service brand - NHS, helped launch of one of France's three mobile phone operators and worked around the world in the international telecommunications industry. John blogs on behalf of Counterpoint, the British Council's Cultural Relations think tank.
