Candidate for an M.A. in Broadcast Journalism
 
Millicent Jefferson worked as an Assistant Editor at the Center on Public Diplomacy in 2005.

At that time, Millicent was a graduate student in broadcast journalism at the USC Annenberg School for Communication.

Prior to studying at USC, Millicent was a teacher in elementary education for the Los Angeles Unified School District. She taught fourth, fifth and sixth grades and has experience with general and special education populations.

Millicent worked as a marketing coordinator for an e-healthcare software company in Berkeley, California and in patient care as a physical therapy aide.

Millicent is a native of Los Angeles. She earned a B.A. in Anthropology with an emphasis in culture and medicine from the University of California, Berkeley in 2000.

Millicent speaks Italian and Spanish and has studied history and language in Florence, Italy.
