Uri Zigelboim
Contributing Researcher 2008-09
Candidate for Master of Public Diplomacy, USC


Uri Zigelboim received a B.A. in History from UCLA and is currently a Master of Public Diplomacy candidate at USC's Annenberg School for Communication. As a CPD Contributing Researcher, Uri is currently working on the Public Diplomacy in the News project. Over the past year, he has worked as the Second Life group manager for the MacArthur Foundation's "Virtual Worlds and the Public Good" project based at USC. The project was set up to explore digital culture, social networking and the potential for philanthropic organizations within virtual worlds. Prior to that, Uri worked in film and commercial production since 1999, most recently as an editor and producer at Filmout Editorial in Los Angeles. His areas of interest include new media, journalism, and international relations.
